CBS The Price is Right “Come on Down” Tour
For the past 50 years, The Price is Right has been part of the fabric of America, uplifting viewers, and contestants alike with positivity, excitement, and a daily escape. To celebrate this major milestone, CBS Original series The Price is Right embarked on an epic coast-to-coast tour making 50 stops at landmarks across America. Fans could experience the joy of the show in their own hometowns with this innovative mobile game on wheels, that included fan favorites such as Plinko, Spin the Wheel, and Showcase Showdown. Fans competed for a chance to win a grand prize of $50,000, as well as other fun prizes that supported beloved local business partners whose history is deeply tied to 1972, the year the show premiered.
A NATIONWIDE CELEBRATION
The Price is Right Come on Down Tour made special stops in cities including Los Angeles, Denver, Dallas, New Orleans, Nashville, St. Louis, and Cleveland, the hometown of the show's host Drew Carey, as well as New York. Along the way, the tour visited uniquely American landmarks such as the Route 66 sign, Gateway Arch, and the World's Largest Basket. MKG created the mobile experience and managed the tour, while ACC implemented a robust communications campaign that generated widespread coverage and awareness.
