In 2022, Dickies celebrated their 100 year anniversary. To honor this rich heritage, Dickies teamed up with the award-winning street photographer ESTEVAN ORIOL on a partnership that paid tribute to Chicano culture and the lowriding community.
The goal was to create a collection that honored the working-class and artistic communities that have long supported the brand, and who have traditionally been overlooked by the fashion world.

Together Dickies released the inaugural Estevan Oriol x Dickies capsule collection, a limited edition run of Dickies’ classic workwear styles emblazoned with imagery inspired by the artist’s iconic representations of West Coast street culture.

Dickies and Estevan Oriol jointly hosted an invite-only, LA launch event that would serve as an embodiment of the spirit of the partnership and lowrider culture.
In addition to the collection, Oriol also got behind the lens to capture the campaign lookbook for the drop. Models appear in a laidback slow approach to life, posed in and around a series of Lowriding vehicles.
